Web apps that are cool make it easier to find music on Youtube more than ever
Hello, here's a small bit of cover story for me. I love spotify. I'm unable to get enough music from outside the country through these services. Amazon Music and Apple/Itunes are excellent however they don't always bring new music until old versions are old-fashioned. I like di.fm (and similar streaming online radio channels) however, they seldom offer new, cool tunes. Their music also comes in 1hr intervals. It's great when you want to party, get tunneled or throwdown.
Youtube is the answer. Youtube is the one website where you can get music from all countries with all backgrounds and cultures. The songs appear there almost immediately after they have been broadcast on radios. Labels don't just share songs via Youtube, but every music lover can listen to new music on the radio and record them, and save them as a video and upload it to youtube. You can even film yourself doing the song, and then share it on youtube. Some of these shares receive millions of views but are not detected by copyright claim service.
Any new or old song on Youtube can be found in hundreds of different versions, from great quality tracks to awful renditions performed by the drunken crowd of viewers. This is fine as long as I can enjoy the music. I enjoy listening to tracks, buy high-quality copies and, honestly, have not had to pay for music in a long time. It's great to be able to discover songs from the 80s, alongside music from the 90s as well as dance songs from the 2000s on Youtube. Sometimes, I stumble across videos that read "This and this decided not to let you listen to this song".. read this I don't care about this and head to Flvto or Y2mate to look for MP3s.
How does it work? Simply enter a search phrase and the website will provide 2 dozen results. I click one of the results to get options to convert Youtube videos into mp3 or download mp4 files. It's very simple and doesn't require technical knowledge. I have access to all my music on Youtube and listen to it from home. It isn't a problem what happens to videos. I also have copies of my time-shifted playlist on my computer that are ready for me whenever I need them. Try mp3 fishing yourself it's really amazing. It lets me bypass any restrictions Youtube has placed on my "country", so it lets me listen to music from around the globe as well as from Europe and Africa.
